It’s no real surprise that the most popular fast-food chain in 24 states serves up a strong breakfast. But just like any fast-food joint, not all that glitters is gold.

The mini’s bread… glistens. I’m instantly suspicious of whatever isn’t deep fried yet still glistens like an oil slick within the midday sun.
The “chick-n-mini” consists of a normal Chick Fil a Hours right into a “yeast roll” pocket that’s glazed having a vague “honey spread”. There’s an odd flavor that I can’t quite place – it tastes of slightly sweetened sourdough, although with chicken thrown inside the mix.

I don’t mind the grilled chicken – it’s well seasoned, and also the citrus marinade lends a brightness which helps cut with the cheese.
The egg white doesn’t add much. Sure, the theory can be a low calorie, fat-free protein, but that shouldn’t come at the fee for taste. Halfway through, the flavors start to retreat in the face of egg white blandness.

I’d rank this higher when it weren’t such a cop-out.

If yogurt is definitely too healthy for your tastes, We have your solution: hash browns.
How can you not love these savory, greasy, bottle cap sized discs of deliciousness? They cool off fast, but retain their taste even at lukewarm temperatures. I only wish these people were crispier.
4. Sausage breakfast burrito
The sausage burrito far outshines its chicken counterpart. The sausage is mild; the eggs taste rich and search real. The roasted onions and peppers are extremely satisfying and flavorful.
